My Story
As a banker who has worked in the nation's largest banks for over 18 years, I have helped hundreds of businesses – from startups to Fortune 500 companies – improve their cash management processes. My credentials include a Bachelor's degree in Business from Babson College, a Master's degree in Finance from Suffolk University, and a Certificate in Financial Planning from Boston University.
As a first-generation college graduate raised by a single mother of three with limited resources, I understand the value of education and maximizing potential despite circumstances. Working my way up from a trainee to Vice President, I learned as much as I could about money and achieved financial security through multiple streams of income and real estate investments.
While my formal education played a pivotal role in my success, it was my experiences as an entrepreneur that truly shaped my path. Fueled by a passion for financial freedom, I took deliberate steps to eliminate debt, build substantial savings, and ultimately transition from a secure banking career to pursue my entrepreneurial dreams.
Now, my mission is to empower you to transform your financial situation and reach your goals of building a lasting legacy. Let me share the invaluable lessons I've learned to guide you, helping you steer clear of common pitfalls and unlock the pathway to true financial freedom.
Let's get personal...
I was born and raised on the island of Barbados and moved to the US to pursue a college education. I am married to my wonderful husband, Malcolm. I knew he was the one when he agreed to watch Suze Orman's weekly financial talk show with me while dating. We have a smart, funny, energetic 5-year-old daughter. When I am not busy chasing after her, running my travel franchise, or thinking of ways to help my clients, I enjoy traveling, cooking and watching a good reality tv show.
